Are you looking for privacy? Do you enjoy peace and quiet? Would you like evenings on the shore of a private lake? If the answer is "yes", look no further than our lake cottage at the Cold Creek Ranch!
Until recently, the lake cottage was our family's recreational retreat. We enjoyed the seclusion, magnificent oaks and hickory trees, and the approximately 12-acre private lake enough to build a new and permanent residence.
The lake cottage is decorated as we used it. All kitchen essentials, linens and more, are in place....you just need to bring your food! There's a gas grill on the back deck so you can enjoy the sunset over the lake while you grill!
Two bedrooms on the lower level are equipped with queen-sized beds. The great room is cozy with a fireplace and vaulted ceiling with lake views on two sides. This cottage is completely modern, a small 'home away from home'.
Southern Illinois has a lot to offer, but you simply enjoy the outdoors, you'll probably find more than enough to do and remain content without leaving the ranch.
