Cold Creek Ranch is located on a private lake in the heart of this beautiful wooded area, bordered by the Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge. The refuge, thousands of acres in size, is home to all types of animals native to Southern Illinois. If you like nature and animals, this is the place for you!
At Cold Creek Ranch you will enjoy canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, with guided horse back rides available.
Our ranch is centrally located, only 15 minutes from both Carbondale and Marion. Both communities have mall shopping centers, dining and movie theaters. A variety of recreational activities are also located near this secluded get-away, including boating and fishing at Crab Orchard Lake, Lake of Egypt, Devil's Kitchen Lake, and Little Grassy Lake. Giant City and Ferne Cliff State Parks offer excellent hiking. Hunting and golf are also readily available in the area.
